Alain Cornet

As an ex Global Finance executive with Procter & Gamble (32 years including regional CFO for the Balkans and Head of Global Indirect Taxation) and contributor to OECD Consumption tax work (10 years serving on Technical Advisory Group), Alain Cornet gained experience in the areas of finance, strategy, running international operations, working with governments, negotiation and presentation skills.In 2015, he decided to use those skills to step up his engagement in favour of a cause close to his heart: people living with systemic lupus. He is now Secretary General of Lupus Europe, Treasurer of CLAIR asbl, and Board Member of the Patient expertise Center (Belgium). Alain is engaged in multiple projects, such as ERN ReCONNET EPAG, member of EJP-RD WP20 on clinical trials, Member of the EULAR PARE School of Rheumatology, Steering team member of various Congresses, organiser of panels or training for patients, and more.
