Rie Fujisawa has worked for different international organisations including the World Health Organization, International Labour Organization and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). Since 2008, she has been responsible for developing patient-reported experience measures at the OECD to promote a systematic use of patient voices and experiences in health system performance assessment across countries. Over the past decade, she has contributed to a development of a number of national and international surveys which measure patient experiences. She now manages an international working group composed of patients and methodology experts, to develop indicators on patient-reported experiences of safety for national and international monitoring and reporting through a development of survey questions, data collection and assessment.
