Jo van der Auwera

At FibriCheck, Jo is responsible for quality control and regulatory compliance, and aftersales. He has a MS in Biomedical Sciences from Hasselt University, with a focus on bioelectronics and nanotechnology. He is expert in mHealth regulations and carried out the successful CE-filing and FDA-approval of FibriCheck. Jo was a clinical research associate at the Cardiology Research Deparment of the hospital Ziekenhuis Oost-Limburg, where he worked on remote patient monitoring and disease management in patients with an implantable cardiac device (cardioverter-defibrillator or cardiac resynchronization device). From the company's founding, he has been responsible for quality and regulatory aspects and aftersales.
