Laure holds a master's degree in Political Science, International Relations for Humanitarian Action. From late 2012 to early 2017, she worked at the SPF Public Health, Food Chain Safety and Environment (SPF SPSCAE) in the Patient Quality and Safety Unit. She gained knowledge and expertise in the area of quality of care coordination and patient safety and worked with hospitals at the national level to publish recommendations on different topics such as patient involvement. Laure Istas is now a project manager for PAQS and is working on various projects to provide support to healthcare institutions on quality and safety aspects, including patient partnership, teamwork and communication.
