Stijntje Dijk

Stijntje Dijk is a final year Medical student and a student of Health Economics, Policy & Law. Stijntje has previously served as the Medical Education Director of the International Federation of Medical Students' Associations (IFMSA), representing 1.3 million medical students worldwide. She served on the boards of the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) and Association for Medical Education in Europe (AMEE), and currently works on quality assurance in medical education as a student member of the Dutch Flanders Accreditation Organization (NVAO).

Her main interests in medical education lie in the areas of Social Accountability of Medical Schools and the inclusion of students and patients in all stages of curriculum planning, delivery and evaluation. Together with Matthias Wienold (patient representative) and Edwin Duijzer (MD) she is conducting a systematic literature review on the involvement of patients in undergraduate medical education.
